A sound bath is a deeply immersive experience where participants lie down and relax while being enveloped in various sounds produced by instruments such as crystal singing bowls, Tibetan singing bowls, gongs, chimes, and more. The aim is to promote relaxation, stress reduction, and inner healing.
Energy healing is a holistic practice that aims to balance and restore the body’s natural energy flow. It is based on the belief that disruptions or blockages in this energy can lead to physical, emotional, or spiritual issues.
During a sound bath, you'll typically lie down comfortably on a yoga mat or meditation chair, close your eyes, and allow the sounds to wash over you. The session may include periods of silence interspersed with sounds from various instruments. Some participants experience deep relaxation, while others may have emotional or energetic releases.
All healing is self-paced, and most people need more than one session to get their body into balance again. We will go over all this in our first session.
Yes, we offer private sessions for individuals, couples, or groups. Please contact us for more information and to schedule a private session.
Comfort is key to making the most of your experience. The more comfortable you are, the more you will be able to relax and fully engage in the sound. Loose, non-restrictive clothing is a good choice. If you tend to feel the cold, make sure to bring some extra layers with you. And please don’t forget your socks!
While sound healing is safe for most people, there are a few exceptions. If you are in your first trimester of pregnancy, have tinnitus or severe hearing loss, have metal fittings, or are epileptic, it’s best to consult with a healthcare professional first. It’s always important to listen to your body and ensure that any therapeutic practice aligns with your personal health circumstances.
Sound healing can be a beneficial complementary therapy, but it shouldn't replace traditional medical treatment. While some people find that sound healing helps reduce stress, anxiety, and pain, it's important to consult healthcare professionals for medical conditions. Integrative approaches can be effective, combining the benefits of sound healing with conventional treatments for a more holistic approach to health. Always discuss any alternative therapies with your doctor to ensure they're appropriate for your situation.
